How to hard wire the camera with NVR/Router

NVR has a built-in router and cameras receive the wireless signal from the NVR. When the camera is out off the NVR’s WIFI range, or there are too many obstacles between the NVR and cameras. Customers can hard wire the camera with NVR or wifi router the get more stronger signal.

 

1, Hard wire the camera with NVR ---- “Auto add” to add camera (for the NVR with 1 WAN Port and 3 LAN Port)

1) Plug the camera and NVR to power with the included power adapter.

2) Use an ethernet network cable (RJ45) to connect the camera to NVR's LAN port.

3) In the NVR system using a mouse, right click on the screen to enter main menu>video manage to enter device manage interface.

4). The above box shows info of your cameras; the box below shows channel info of your NVR.

5). Check which channel camera you want to hard wire with NVR at lower box, then click “delete” 

6). Find out your new camera on the above box and select it. If you don't see your new camera, click refresh manage interface.

7). Select an unoccupied channel(the channel you delete just now) of your NVR from below box and click “Auto Add”. It will take few seconds to hard wire the camera with NVR. 


2. Hard wire the Camera with Router --- for NVR with only one WAN port, No LAN port.

1). Plug whole system & wifi router to power.

2). Connect the NVR to LAN Port of router with Ethernet cable, and also connect camera to LAN port of Router.

3). In the NVR system, using a mouse, right click on the screen to enter main menu>video manage to enter device manage interface.

3). The above box shows info of your cameras; the box below shows channel info of your NVR.

4). Check which channel camera you want to hard wire with router at lower box, then click “delete” 

5). Find out your new camera on the above box and select it. If you don't see your new camera, click refresh manage interface. 

6). Select an unoccupied channel(the channel you deleted just now) of your NVR from below box and click “Auto Add”. It will take few seconds to hard wire the camera with router.
